The name of the institution was changed from the University of Western Sydney to Western Sydney University in 2015 as part of a rebranding effort. Scholarship Details

Vice-Chancellor's Academic Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship: 

  • This scholarship is awarded to high-achieving international students who are starting an undergraduate degree at Western Sydney University. The scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees for up to three years.

Western Sydney International Bursary: 

  • This scholarship is available to international students who are starting an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Western Sydney University. The scholarship provides a one-off payment of up to AUD 7,500 to help cover the cost of tuition fees.

The Destination Australia Scholarship: 

  • This scholarship is awarded to international students who are starting a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at one of Western Sydney University's regional campuses. The scholarship provides a stipend of AUD 15,000 per year to help cover living expenses.

The Western Sydney University Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship: 

  • This scholarship is available to international students who are undertaking a research degree (Master of Research or Doctor of Philosophy) at Western Sydney University. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition fees and provides a living allowance of AUD 28,597 per year.
