Victoria University (VU) is a world-class university and its main campus is located in Melbourne, and other campuses in Sydney, Brisbane and other parts of Australia. One of the world’s most livable cities. It is in the top 2% of universities worldwide, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. In 2018 a key initiative was the introduction of the Block model, a transformative way of delivering education, through sequential learning (one unit each 4 weeks), delivered in a focused learner-centered environment using real-world problem based learning and a small group interactive approach. This is the biggest endeavor in the world to date to implement university block teaching across all educational fields, and was extended into postgraduate education beginning 2021.
