The University of the West of England, Bristol is a public research university. It dwells in and around Bristol, England. It is made up of several campuses in Greater Bristol with the main campus being located at Frenchay and other three namely City Campus, Glenside Campus and Gloucester Campus respectively. It received university status in 1992. The university has been ranked 36th out of 121 UK institutions in the Guardian League Table 2022. It has also been awarded Gold in the Government’s 2018 Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework, TEF. Scholarship Details
The University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol offers a series of scholarships to finance international students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Among the distinguished choices is the UWE Bristol International Student Scholarship, in which qualifying international fee-paying students can receive up to £4,000 in the first year. Applicants are considered automatically based on academic achievement, personal statements, and other supporting information. Another opportunity is the UWE Bristol Global Success Scholarship, which gives £3,000 annually for up to three years to undergraduate students and promotes the participation of the students in university support and marketing activities. The GREAT Scholarships give £10,000 for a one-year master's program for postgraduate students from particular countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan, and Turkey, and the applications close in early May. Outstanding sportspersons can also apply for the UWE Bristol International Sport Scholarship, which provides a 30% tuition fee discount and other performance support. UWE Bristol also provides an International Student Support Fund to assist students facing financial hardship. The fund is available to all fully registered international and EU students who can manage their fees and living costs but require further financial help due to unforeseen circumstances.
