Why University of Northern British Columbia?
UNBC provides a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields. Arts, sciences, business administration, health sciences, environmental studies, education, engineering, and other subjects are included in these programs.
UNBC offers several sites, including the main campus in Prince George and satellite campuses in Terrace, Queznel, and Fort St. John. Each site offers distinct learning settings and amenities that are suited to the needs of the surrounding community.
UNBC places a major focus on research and provides chances for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in research initiatives. Natural resources and the environment, health and wellness, social justice, and Indigenous studies are among the research areas prioritized by the institution.
One of the benefits of attending UNBC is that the classes are relatively small, allowing for more customized attention and interaction between students and lecturers. This can help to develop a positive learning atmosphere and good relationships with faculty members.
UNBC is dedicated to integrating Indigenous perspectives, knowledge, and practices into its curriculum and campus life. The university collaborates extensively with nearby Indigenous communities and provides Indigenous-specific programs and services
