Scholarship Details
- The International Academic Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduates
UNO International Academic Excellence Scholarship Awarded to all undergraduate students upon admission. Approximate value: $3,000 per year Renewable for a total of five years or until a bachelor's degree is attained. Applies to on-campus courses only. Both first-time and transfer undergraduate students are eligible. Eligibility can be maintained by enrolling full-time in at least 12 credit hours. Summer term on-campus courses may also be covered, pro-rated. Students cannot combine the scholarship with other tuition-remission-based aid. All newly admitted undergraduate students will automatically be considered for the scholarship at the time of admission.
- The Tom and Janet Miller Scholarship
The Tom and Janet Miller Scholarship Award: $1,000. This scholarship is presented to students who demonstrate a financial need and have attended the Intensive English Language program, ILUNO, while pursuing full-time undergraduate work at UNO. For consideration, students must retain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible. Contact International Student Advising for more details on how to apply. This scholarship is for such students in need to make their sojourn in UNO as smooth as possible.
