Scholarship Details

Global Achievement Scholarship (Undergraduate) 

€2,000 reduction in tuition fees for their first year of undergraduate study. There is no need to apply separately for this scholarship, as all eligible candidates will be automatically considered based on their academic results and personal statement.


To qualify for this scholarship, successful candidates must be:


assessed as international for fee purposes

self-funded (ie not receive funding from any other external sources such as government or employer sponsorship)

and have:


  • meet the conditions outlined in your full-time undergraduate course offer letter

  • secured a place for full-time study at the University of Galway on an eligible programme starting in September 2024.

  • accepted your offer by Wednesday, 1 May 2024.
