About
University Canada West (UCW) is a private, for-profit university in British Columbia, Canada. It was founded in 2005 by David F. Strong, the former president of the University of Victoria. It offers a range of career-focused programs that are designed to meet the needs of the market to ensure students receive up-to-date education at all times.
University Canada West has two easily accessible campuses in downtown Vancouver. Their new Vancouver House Campus, located at 1461 Granville St. and our West Pender Campus, located at 626 West Pender St. in historic London Building.

University Canada West (UCW) entrance awards, scholarships and grants are available to new students applying to UCW undergraduate or graduate programs. You can receive only one award, scholarship, grant or continuing student award if eligible. The awards and scholarships provided by University Canada West are:
Pathway to Knowledge Bursary
Applicable Programs: Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication
Eligibility: This award is open to both domestic applicants and international applicants who have a GPA of 2.33 (C+) or higher (after conversion) on their qualification used as their basis for admission.
Scholarships for Academic Excellence
Applicable Programs: MBA, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, Associate of Arts
Eligibility: This award is open to both domestic applicants and international applicants who have excellent academic achievement on their qualification used as their basis for admission. Please see Award Value for the specific CGPA requirements.
Second Language Excellence Scholarship
Programs: MBA, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, Associate of Arts
Eligibility: This award is open to international applicants who have achieved a minimum overall score of 7.0 on an IELTS – Academic Report*

University Canada West has earned ACBSP Global Business Accreditation for its MBA and BCom degree programs
University Canada West is a member of the BC Transfer System (BCCAT) with hundreds of credit transfer arrangements to other post-secondary institutions.
University Canada West has earned NCMA National Accreditation for its MBA and BCom degree program
The university is accredited by the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training, and carries the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) accreditation under the 2003 Degree Authorization Act.
