University Canada West (UCW) is a for-profit, privately owned institution founded in 2005 and situated in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia. It is owned by Global University Systems and has two campuses: the historic West Pender campus and the newer Vancouver House campus. UCW offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including business and communication degrees, all accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Scholarships Details
University Canada West (UCW) offers a variety of merit-based scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate international students. These scholarships reward academic excellence, with undergraduate awards up to CAD 20,000 and graduate awards up to CAD 15,000, granted based on academic performance and leadership potential. Additionally, the International Student Leaders Award provides financial support for students who demonstrate leadership and community involvement, offering up to CAD 12,000 for undergraduates and CAD 7,500 for graduates. UCW also recognizes language proficiency through the Second Language Excellence Scholarship, which awards up to CAD 8,000 to applicants with high IELTS scores. Furthermore, there are regional grants available for students from specific areas such as the Americas, Morocco, Mongolia, Turkey, South Korea, Mauritius, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Southeast Asia, with some grants matching domestic tuition rates or offering up to CAD 5,000. Students must apply at least 30 days before their program starts and submit required documents, including a personal statement and transcripts. Only one scholarship can be awarded per student, and all awards are credited toward tuition, contingent on maintaining good academic standing.
