Scholarships detail
Scholarships for International Students
The UAB International Scholarship provides $7,500 each year for first-time, full-time undergraduate international students at UAB. Applicants must have graduated from high school within the last two years, achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0, have not attended any post-secondary institution, and intend to obtain an F-1 visa. The scholarship is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and can be renewed for up to four years. However, students who receive government or external scholarships are not eligible for this award.
University Accreditation/ Recognition

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award bachelor's, master's, educational specialist, and doctoral degrees. Such accreditation bears witness to the commitment of the institution to ensure that high-quality programs are provided in all disciplines.
