The College, Swansea University is a pathway provider that offers undergraduate and postgraduate pathway programs in various subjects. These programs enable students who do not meet the criteria for direct entry into Swansea University progress into the University. Swansea University has been ranked 12th for overall student satisfaction in the 2021 National Student Survey (NSS). It also retains its UK top 25 position in the Guardian University Guide 2022.
The pathway curriculum at The College, Swansea University is designed in partnership with Swansea University. The students who do not qualify for direct entry criteria (English or academic) can undertake pathway programs and then progress to Swansea University upon successful completion of those programs. It has a dedicated student support team to help students in their academic and college journey. They are responsible for academic performance monitoring, attendance monitoring and providing disability support, English language support, enrolment, learning support, orientation programs, social activities, student welfare and study skills training.
