Scholarship Details

Provost's Scholarship for Excellence

This scholarship offers up to $6,000 per year (totaling $24,000 over 4 years) for undergraduate first-year students, International Year One students, and Undergraduate Transfer Program (UTP) or Direct Entry Transfer students. To be eligible, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5+ (or equivalent) for high school completion, or 3.25+ for transfer students. The scholarship is automatically considered based on academic qualifications, renewable with a 3.0+ GPA. It cannot be combined with Regional Awards or Scholarships. The annual tuition after the scholarship is $31,000.

Regional Scholarships

The Regional Scholarships offer between $1,000 and $7,500 for graduate pathway program enrollments, with a one-time award in the first year. The scholarship is available on a first-come, first-served basis and reduces annual tuition from $32,850 to a net of $25,350. A personal statement for a scholarship interview may be required for certain regions. For more details, students should contact INTO regional staff or an OSU representative.
University Accreditation/Recognition
Oregon State University is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), which guarantees its academic quality standards are equal to accepted standards. The College of Business holds accreditation from AACSB, a hallmark of excellence for business schools. Certain engineering and science programs hold special accreditations, including ABET for Engineering, Computer Science, Radiation Health Physics, and Construction Engineering Management. The Chemistry program is accredited by the American Chemical Society (ACS). Music Education and Education (BA, MA, MS) programs are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), indicating high levels of educator preparation standards.
