Scholarship Details

International merits based Scholarships for graduates and undergraduates Students

Newcastle University offers several merit-based scholarships for international undergraduate and postgraduate students. Undergraduate scholarships include the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship, providing a £6,000 tuition fee reduction automatically for high-achieving students, and the Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarship offering £4,000 with a separate application. There is also the Excellence Scholarship, which can cover 50% to 100% of tuition fees for top-performing students from certain countries. For postgraduate students, similar awards exist, including a £7,000 fee reduction through the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship and an Excellence Scholarship granting up to full tuition coverage for those with strong academic records. Generally, scholarship eligibility requires excellent academic achievement, typically equivalent to ABB at A-Level for undergraduates and a high second-class or first-class degree for postgraduates.
