New England College (NEC) was established in 1946 and is located in Henniker, New Hampshire. The college was built to attend the educational needs of servicemen returning from the Second World War and later it turned into a diversified institution with a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. NEC’s rural campus which offers a picturesque backdrop gives a vibrant community atmosphere in combination with its experiential learning and personalized education programs have vastly encouraged students both academically and socially.

As far as the accreditation is concerned, NEC is an officially and legally recognized institution which is testified by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), a regional body that has firmly set strict standards necessitated for the functioning of the institution. Furthermore, the college's Business Administration programs (both undergraduate and MBA) are also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) which shows that the institution provides high-quality and challenging educational opportunities of business. NEC is also a member of the National Council for Higher Education Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), so it has the right to offer online programs across the United States​.
