Midway University, established in 1847, is a private university headquartered in Midway, Kentucky. When first established, the school was known as the Kentucky Female Orphan School and has a very rich history in educating students. Today, Midway is a co-educational institution serving all genders while continuing its very strong tradition of supporting women in education. The university is situated on a picturesque 200-acre campus in Central Kentucky, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting.
With an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students, Midway University offers small class sizes and personal faculty interactions that provide students with a uniquely personalized education. It offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with some of the more common areas of study including nursing, business, education, and equine science.
