About

Melbourne Institute of Technology is a private higher education provider which was founded in 1996 in Melbourne by Nepali-Australian businessman Shesh Ghale and his wife Jamuna Gurung. It also has its campus in sydney which was established in 2003. It is an affiliated institute of the Federal University Australia. It offers a range of FedUni undergraduate and postgraduate programs along with online short courses and NEAS endorsed English language courses through its English Language Centre.

MIT is the partnership between Federation University Australia and MIT Australia. The quality of the courses are controlled by FedUni and the degree is also conferred by the FedUni however the facilities, lecturers, tutors and student services are provided by MIT. Academic staff at MIT are approved to teach by FedUni. Both campuses are equipped with facilities like a library with the latest electronic information services, prayer room, student lounge, modern computer labs, excellent teaching and learning recourse facilities, networking studio labs, first-aid facilities and student support and counselling services and many more. It holds pride in all courses but particularly in IT Computer Networking course which specializes in Cyber Security, Software Engineering and Cloud Networks. MIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in following study areas:
