The University of Leicester Global Study Centre (GSC) was established in 1921, and it is operated in partnership with Navitas, which is an affiliated institution of the University of Leicester, a top public research university in England. Located in Oadby near the main campus, the Centre offers pathway and foundation programs such as International Foundation Years in Economics and Management, Engineering and Technology, Sciences, and Society and Culture, and International Year One in Management. International merits based Scholarships for graduates and undergraduates Students
The University of Leicester offers various international merit scholarships to high-achieving students. Undergraduate students are eligible to get £5,000 per year via the International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship by meeting no fewer than two grades above typical entry criteria, typically representing a 3.2–3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale or a foundation pathway with a grade of 70% or higher. Postgraduate students with a UK equivalent undergraduate First Class degree, usually a 3.7–4.0 GPA, can receive up to £5,000 annually under the International Postgraduate Merit Scholarship. The Chancellor's International Scholarship gives a fee waiver of £3,000 to undergraduate and postgraduate applicants who meet usual entry requirements, usually a minimum 3.0 GPA. All the scholarships are automatically reviewed and reward international students on the basis of their outstanding academic performance.
