1. ICMS has a curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge and applied learning delivered in real-work settings. 
2. ICMS focuses on work-integrated learning which helps students in enhancing their work related learning, enhancing their awareness of the work relationship and building industry contacts and networks.

5. Flexible timetable lets students choose subjects to suit their lifestyle. The college offers regular weekly classes in the day and select classes in the evening.

Teaching faculties at ICMS are well experienced and hold positions such as sales and marketing directors, financial analysts, destination marketers, CEOs, management consultants and corporate trainers. They are joined by the guest speakers who bring their own perspectives on the latest movements in industry, and share their business and management strategies.

The successful applicant will be awarded a scholarship of UP TO AU$15,000* within one of the following bachelor programs: Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business, Business (Entrepreneurship), Business (Marketing), Business (International Tourism), Business (Sports Management), Business Management (Accounting), Business Management (Fashion & Global Brand Management), Property (Development, Investment and valuation). 2. Finalists will be selected based on the following criteria:

1. Academic & English Requirement: Applicants need to meet the regular ICMS entry requirements in English language proficiency and academic ability.

2. Essay Submission (Minimum 500 words): Address the following questions within an essay:

• The reasons for choosing ICMS, including the choice of program/specialization

• What will you bring to ICMS?

• Where do you hope to be in 10 years’ time and how ICMS will contribute to this?

• Why are you the most appropriate student to be awarded this scholarship?

3. Community, Leadership and Student Body Contributions: The community contributions form a vital part of a student's background and application for the ICMS Professional Scholarship Program. Include all relevant information past and present. For example, details of place-holdings such as student representative council, community volunteering, and other areas of Interest.

3. Interview Stage: 

• Students who are successful with their essay and ICMS entry requirements will progress to the interview stage.

• The student will be interviewed by members of the International Scholarships Board and will be asked a broad range of questions relating to their knowledge of the College and course of their choice, their life and background in general

4. Announcement

• All applicants will be notified of the results by letter / email.

The Bachelor of Business Management (Accounting) degree at ICMS has been approved for professional accreditation by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (Chartered Accountants ANZ).

• It has been ranked 1st for Event Management and Hospitality Management in Australia (based on graduate employability) (Kantar Millward Brown. Versus a set of key competitors based on n=46 leading industry brand partners of ICMS (from a list of 140 leading industry brand partners).

• It has been ranked ahead of Go8 in skills development (QILT Survey 2018/19)

• ICMS’ full time employment rate tops Australia’s best ranked Universities (QILT Survey 2020,  ICMS’ graduate employment of 73.9% is better than both Australian National University (ANU) at 71.3% and the University of Melbourne, measured at 61.1%. ANU was ranked the top Australian University in the 2021 QS World University Rankings Survey, and the University of Melbourne was the top ranked Australian university in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021. Whilst ICMS was not part of either of the above ranking systems, it can be compared like for like with universities and colleges across the country in the QILT survey, which is funded by the Australian government)
