Hawaiʻi Pacific University is a private, nonprofit university founded in 1965. Scholarship Details

Hawaiʻi Pacific University (HPU) offers numerous scholarships to international undergraduate students. All admitted international students are automatically eligible for academic merit scholarships, which can cover up to 50% of tuition according to academic performance. Incoming new international students on an F-1 visa are also eligible for a 50% tuition waiver in the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship with an essay or video application of leadership. HPU also offers talent-based awards in music, debate, e-sports, and journalism, and athletic awards through its NCAA Division II sports, awarded at the coaches' discretion. Transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa may also qualify for additional monetary awards. The majority of scholarships are automatically awarded, but a few require separate applications. University Accreditation/Recognition
Hawai'i Pacific University has been accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) since 1973, ensuring the institution adheres to high academic standards and delivers quality education.
Beyond its regional accreditation, the university also has specialized accreditations for its programs. The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredits its nursing programs, including the baccalaureate, master’s, post-graduate APRN certificate, and Doctor of Nursing Practice. The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredits the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs. Additionally, the university's Education degrees, such as the B.Ed. and M.Ed. in Elementary Education and the M.Ed. in Secondary Education, are approved by the Hawai'i Teacher Standards Board and accredited by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP).
