Scholarship Details
Arkansas State University (A-State) offers several scholarship opportunities exclusively for international students to support their studies. The International Freshman Scholarship provides $3,000 each year to incoming undergraduate freshmen with a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.25 and A-State's English proficiency requirements. Similarly, the International Transfer Scholarship provides $3,000 annually to transfer students who have at least 24 transferable college hours and GPA of 3.25 or higher, along with English proficiency requirements. The two scholarships are renewable yearly, provided students maintain a 3.0 GPA and complete 30 credit hours every year. Worth noting, however, is that these two scholarships cannot be layered with institution scholarships. In addition to institutional awards, A-State also provides access to several privately funded scholarships administered by the university and the ASU Foundation.
These scholarships are available to students who study full-time and typically require evidence of academic achievement or outstanding ability in a specific area. Furthermore, A-State identifies external scholarship opportunities for international students, including the International Scholarship Programmed of the Aga Khan Foundation, which provides scholarships to developing country students on a 50% grant and 50% loan basis. This accreditation allows the university to offer and confer degrees at multiple levels, including associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Dallas Baptist University is currently an applicant for accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808). The university’s Dorothy M. Bush College of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
