INTO University of Exeter is a pathway provider that offers foundation and diploma programs to international students. These programs enable students to progress to University of Exeter or other UK universities. University of Exeter is a member of the Russell Group, one of the UK’s 24 elite research-intensive universities. It is known for its outstanding teaching, research and graduate employability prospects. It has been ranked 12th in the UK (The Times and the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021) and among the top 150 universities worldwide (QS World University Rankings 2022). It has also been awarded TEF Gold for teaching quality (Teaching Excellence Framework 2017).
Overview
INTO University of Exeter is a partnership between INTO and University of Exeter. The programs at INTO University of Exeter are designed in collaboration with the university to improve the competence required for undergraduate and postgraduate study at the University of Exeter and other universities. Upon successful completion of the pathway program and having met the requirements the students are guaranteed a progression to an appropriate degree program at the University of Exeter. There are students from over 30 nations studying at the INTO Centre. As of September 2019, 79% of students who completed the course were accepted by University of Exeter and more than 90% of INTO Exeter students who achieved a pass mark or higher in their academic programme successfully progressed to a UK university; with more than 490 students progressing to a university ranked in the top 30 in the UK. INTO Centre has committed Student Services Team assisting and providing support to all the students. Apart from academics, the students at INTO Study Centre can get full access to the world-class university facilities available on campus including multi-purpose lecture theatre, tutorial rooms and classrooms, science laboratories, language laboratories, state-of-the-art IT facilities throughout, two multimedia rooms for classes or independent learning, Learning Resource Centre with study areas, learning materials and computers, student support facilities, INTO café and flexible spaces for meeting and socialising. INTO Exeter students are given a choice of accommodation i.e. student accommodation on the University campus just 15 minutes from the INTO Centre and homestay accommodation with carefully selected hosts. There are five dedicated accommodation blocks for INTO students, providing more than 500 study bedrooms.
